Welcome to P3a! We have a busy year ahead. We have started our first topic this year which is our city. So far we have learned about Edinburgh Castle and are going to be learning about the Royal Mile, the canal and other famous landmarks. During the year our other themes for learning are; Decades (dance and design), Life Cycles/Human body and Machines in Motion. In literacy we will be working on ensuring we can use full stops and capital letters as well as our phonic spelling and reading skills. In numeracy and maths we are looking at place value, counting, addition and subtraction and properties of shape. P3a will also focus on positive relationships. This Term PE is first thing on Tuesdays and the class will be doing Big Noise on Fridays.
