We are having our MacMillan Café at school on Friday 29th September 2017. Cancer is something that affects all our lives and each year at Sighthill we are pleased to make a donation to support the wonderful work done by MacMillan Cancer Relief.
We manage to raise money by our Primary 7s running a café where children can buy treats such as cakes, sweets, juice and crisps. We will also have a temporary tattoo stall with all the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Relief. If you are happy to support this event, please send your child to school with a little money on the day. If you do not wish your child to take part, he/she will be able to spend time with another class while the class go to the Café.
We would also like to extend an invitation to parents to be involved in contributing to this good cause. If any parent would like to pop into our hall between 9 and 10.30am there will be teas/coffees and cakes on sale.
Children will be in the hall with their class teacher for the following times:
9am-9.30am Primary 6 and Primary 1 children in the hall.
9.30-10.00am Primary 5, Primary 1/2 and Primary 2 children in the hall
10.00-10.30am Primary 3, 3/4 and 4 in the hall
Nursery staff will inform you when nursery children are going.
We look forward to seeing you there and supporting us in raising money for such a good cause!
