Welcome to the P3/4 page!
In P3/4 we are learning to develop our independent learning skills by knowing what do if we get stuck. We made this display to help us remember all the different ways which we can help ourselves.
As part of our ‘Being Resilient’ programme we have been learning about the importance of respecting ourselves. On our ‘I Am and I Can Rainbows’ we wrote something positive about ourselves, while we used ‘Love Notes’ to write what is great about us and why we should be proud of who we are.
This is our display for VCOP: vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation. We use these elements to up-level our writing.
Our ‘Learning to Learn’ wall helps us make the process of learning explicit. We use it to ask Higher Order Thinking Skills questions and to think of different ways of assessing our learning.
In Maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties. Our display can be used as support in our learning.
In P3/4 we are continuing to learn some Spanish. We have been working on days of the week and numbers to 20. Next, we will move on to colours.
Every morning when we come in, we use our ‘Feelings Board’ to let each other and the teacher know how we are feeling. Each day, some of us are given the chance to share our feelings and news.
