The Sighthill Primary School Team are all missing everyone dearly and want to remind everyone that we are still available no matter what. We totally understand these are trying and uncertain times at the moment but are still committed to supporting our pupils and families in anyway within our means. We have a survey for our families if they feel they are needing any extra support at present, please click on the link below to complete:
We know there are lots of great community supports out there at the moment and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to them all, especially The Calders Resident, Youth Club and Edinburgh Together who are going above and beyond to support our families in greatest need! We will continue to collaborate with them to try and make sure all our families are getting the support they need.
We are really pleased to see that so many of our pupils are accessing the school website at the moment and sharing their fabulous home learning. We are starting to look at a different platform for pupils to access their learning to allow them direct contact with their class teachers, this will be through Microsoft TEAMs. More guidance on this will come out after the Easter holidays!
We have also received an updated Parent/Carer Guidance on Teaching, Learning and GIRFEC from the authority which is attached below for you to look over:
We are looking for some feedback from our pupils on how they feel their home learning is going and if there is anything we need to be thinking about for the future. Please can you with your child complete the questionnaire below by clicking on the link:
Schools are on their Easter holidays from Monday 6th April until Friday 17th April. If during this time however you are still needing some support please do not hesitate to email, Admin@sighthill.edin.sch.uk, as we will be still picking these up throughout the two weeks.
In the meantime we really do hope you enjoy your Easter holidays and manage to get your daily exercise of a walk, jog or run! Please all stay safe and healthy!
