Dear Sighthill Families,
I hope you have been enjoying the glorious weather we have been experiencing lately, lets hope it stays for a while longer!! Here is my weekly update:
Digital Audit 2
At the beginning of the school closures the authority had asked us to gather key information regards the ability for our learners to access their home learning resources. We are now looking for an update that will provide us with clearer information for moving forward in the new school session. Please can you take a few minutes to complete the attached survey using the following link, https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=af6sSGo3tUKfacnke7-5xCzipLCHVpVCvYPfIzKU8-5URDRRREtGODIwU0ZRRVg1WU1DS05SR1gzVi4u
Virtual Health Week
This week is our Virtual Health Week! A learning grid has been uploaded to our school website as well as being available on your child’s class TEAM group. We look forward to you taking part in this years Virtual Sports Day on Thursday 4th June.
Class TEAMs
We are really pleased to hear and see from our learners via their class TEAMs group. If you have had difficulty setting your child(ren) up on their class TEAM group or need some support with the teaching resources please do get in touch. Our class teachers are working really hard to provide all the home learning resources and activities for our learners and are there to support in anyway that they can. You can contact the class teacher or school via our admin email address: Admin@sighthill.edin.sch.uk.
Authority Update
Last week a letter was sent out to all families from our authority Chief Education Officer that provides some information on how we are moving forward with planning for school s reopening in August. Please click here for the letter Letter to Parents and Carers 29 May 2020. As always I will keep you as informed and as update as I possibly can. I really appreciate your support and patience throughout and can’t thank you enough for everything you are doing at this time.
Take Care!
